Amaranth is a small plant with beautiful red-pink stems and small maroon green leaves. The taste is mild, slightly nutty, very reminiscent of beetroot. The kitchen is valued for its unique color. When added to the dishes, their appearance will be more attractive.
Growing Amaranth, Red from seed is a rewarding experience! To ensure success, make sure to provide plenty of light and give only minimal needed water (moist but not wet). The seeds are tiny so be gentle when planting them - germination takes about 3-4 days without soaking, plus 12 days for the growth period. Once in full bloom you can enjoy its arrowhead shaped leaves!
