This organic, environmentally sustainable substrate is the perfect combination of aeration and water retention for ultimate root growth.

2. How to prepare and use cococoir for microgreens cultivation?

It may be stored easily in brick form, but it needs to be prepared with water before using. It is also easier to store and ship coco coir since it can be compressed into a much smaller size than cocomats.

To prepare the substrate:

  • Remember that cococoir comes without any nutrients included so, fertilizers need to be added into your nutrient mix for full results!
  • It takes arround 25-30 minutes.
