Cultivation tips for Calabrese Broccoli microgreens seeds:
2-3 inch tall microgreens are the perfect height to harvest. Cut before true leaves of broccoli appear, as this can alter their flavor significantly. To best preserve them and make storage easier, consider cutting off water 12 hours prior to harvesting. Current batch germination rate is 96%.
Broccoli is the source of the most valuable nutrients for the body: vitamins A, C, B1, B2, PP, micronutrients (Ca, Fe, P, Mg), enzymes, including coenzyme Q10 and other strengthening ingredients.
The most valuable in broccoli is sulforaphane - an anti-cancer substance whose concentration in sprouts is 200 times higher than in broccoli itself. Sprouts should be a permanent element in the diet of people who are ill or at risk of cancer.
