Kit Components
Growing Infrastructure
- 10x Shallow Growing Trays (52×31 cm) — Professional trays with no drainage holes. 5 trays serve as bases to hold 8 growing pots each, while the other 5 trays are placed on top to create a complete blackout environment.
- 80x Low Growing Pots (10×12 cm) with drainage holes— Reusable containers, with drainage holes, designed for multiple harvest cycles
- 40x Low Growing Pots (10×12 cm) without drainage holes — These pots serve as covers for the pots with drainage holes, helping to press down the seeds for better contact with the growing medium and ensure optimal conditions for germination.
Together with 80 pots and mats, this setup allows you to perform two complete growing cycles (5 trays per cycle)

Growing Process- How to Use It?

Phase 1: Setup & Sowing
Create your growing system step by step:
- Base layer: Place one large tray without holes as the foundation.
- Growing pots: Arrange 8 Low Growing Pots (with drainage holes) on the tray.
- Growing medium: Insert one Premium Coco Mat into each pot and hydrate it thoroughly.
- Seeding: Evenly distribute seeds at the recommended density, you can check it by using our Microgreen Seeds Density Calculator.
- Compression layer: Cover each pot with a Low Growing Pot (without holes) to gently press the seeds into the mat. This improves seed-to-medium contact and uniform germination.
Phase 2: Blackout Germination
- Once all pots are covered, place another large tray without holes on top to create a complete blackout environment.
- Keep this setup for 2–3 days, misting daily to maintain proper humidity.
- During this stage, roots establish firmly while shoots push against the top pot — ensuring strong, even growth.
Phase 3: Growth & Development
- Remove the top trays and covering pots when seedlings reach about 2–3 cm height.
- Move the trays to light conditions. Maintain steady moisture but avoid oversaturation.
- After 4–5 days, apply diluted MP SEEDS Professional Fertilizer to support vigorous growth and visual uniformity.
Phase 4: Harvest & Evaluation
- Harvest your microgreens between 7–14 days, depending on the variety.
- Cut just above the coco mat to preserve the growing medium.
- Clean and reuse all components for the next testing cycle.
